'A Farmer's Daughter' is a creative rural business run by designer/ maker Helen Thompstone from a studio at her family farm in Staffordshire. Producing contemporary greetings cards and giftware, 'A Farmer's Daughter' is bursting with quirky ideas and eye catching designs, fresh from the British countryside.

Having grown up on the dairy farm, Helen left home to study for a degree in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, returning to her roots at the beginning of 2007 & becoming more involved in farming life with the rest of the family. By the end of 2009 'A Farmer's Daughter' was beginning to take shape as creativity met the farmyard and the first card ranges were born.

Being immersed in the activity of the farm, the range has grown into a unique collection of images, inspired by a working rural environment. Much like the business of farming and food production, Helen prides her work on being home grown, lovingly produced and of top quality.

The designs have received a fantastic response and are now stocked throughout the UK by wonderful independent retailers and farm shops.
